Emerson Jean Baptiste is a specialist in urban violence. Through this subject, he sheds light on its various meanings within the Haitian context: social, intersubjective, and founding/restorative integration. He also identifies dimensions of "order within disorder," a "para-state order," from the perspective of a "subsidiary State" — far from the meaning and context in which C. Delsol (2010) originally published this concept. It acts as a substitute for the other organs of the State in countering the population's social demands. Since completing his doctoral thesis, Jean Baptiste has devoted himself to discovering and rediscovering social objects through various epistemological perspectives. He has now established himself as an intellectual with the ability to produce and reproduce meaning for facts and phenomena alike. Indeed, he did so not only in his doctoral thesis [order out of disorder, the Subsidiary State (2012–2004)], but especially in his two post-doctoral articles published on www.GITMDV, one of which is titled "Ecclesiastical Resilience." The quest for meaning is his priority in his research strategies, which is why — whether in online audiovisual debates or in the preparation of certain reports — he continues to characterize social activities and events (for example, describing a "delinquent State" in Haiti between 2024 and 2026). He frames this by noting that all branches of the State are involved in the establishment of armed groups, including civil society. With all this behind him, he is a sociologist who possesses both analytical and synthetic skill — one moving from the center to the periphery, the other from the periphery to the center. As for his teaching experience, he began very early. From secondary school to university, he has guided young people and adults alike in successfully completing their academic projects in fields such as: social communication, project management, sociology, education sciences, political science, administrative sciences, and information science, in both formal and informal settings. Alongside this work, he has coordinated field surveys and analyzed them, either alone or with research collaborators, not to mention consultations related to studies on early childhood education and youth violence. He also has enriching experience in the social sector. He has worked in this field for at least thirty years as a human rights advocate, psycho-socio-educational worker, social project developer, and executor in the role of team leader and/or organization director. As a result, he has developed expertise in organizing and planning social action, expertise reinforced by his sociological training and his mastery of the structural and functional approach. He has what it takes to lead this Center for the greater good of Quebec's communities and students from everywhere.

Beaudevert Joseph is an experienced professional with over 15 years of work supporting non-profit organizations (NPOs) and local development initiatives. He has an in-depth understanding of the non-governmental organization (NGO) sector and the community field, both nationally and internationally. Holding a bachelor's degree in sociology, a specialized graduate diploma (DESS), and a master's degree in social administration, he draws on this academic background to serve organizational development, associative governance, strategic planning, project management, community mobilization, strengthening consultation mechanisms, and partnership development. In his approach, he favors the active participation of stakeholders, the value of existing resources, the search for sustainable solutions, and innovation. In this way, Joseph aims to strengthen organizational capacities.
